• Responsible for day to day activities of Broadcastin Services Department including duplication and distribution of network programming.
• Managed 20-25 full and part-time employees.
• Managed a quarter of a million dollar budget.
• Managed a customer service/order center staffed by 10-12 phone operators
• Scheduled work shifts, responsible for training, hiring and firing.
• Created several new consumer products for kids and adults.
• Instigated and oversaw complete re-design of all Moody Broadcasting Network consumer cassette and CD packages.
• Helped research new phone system to streamline customer service as well as many other equipment related acquisitions.

Homewood Church

• Responsible for upgrading media area for ‘contemporary’ service, which included video, audio, lighting, sets and staging, worship software, etc.
• Trained all tech personnel - or arranged for training
• Worked directly with Sr. Pastor in service planning, song selection, media selection and creation, creating atmosphere, etc
• Created a service experience weaving thematic elements into the worship experience
• Responsible for all set design and recruiting of construction team
• Responsible for recruiting band, vocalists, tech team members, stage hands, planning team members, etc
• Responsible for scheduling band, vocalists, tech team, stage hands, etc .
• Responsible for rehearsing band and vocalists each week
• Picked or wrote music - transcribed/charted out new music for rehearsals each week
• Helped youth pastor with High School worship band
• Took over much of the graphic design work to create a consistent look and feel - created new programs, brochures, visual images used in the service

Reunion was a church plant with seed of 80 people. Reunion was birthed out of a desire to engage people in our postmodern culture by embracing the arts, using culturally relevant music and media and went out of it’s way to attract and nurture those who had no church experience or those who had been hurt by previous experience. We wanted to push the bounds of traditional church in a good way. Keeping Christ and the gospel central while creating an atmosphere where creative people could feel comfortable and use their gifts to enrich the community.

Responsibilities & Highlights:

• Hammered out the beliefs that would anchor us
• Created the Movements (values) that would guide us· Cast vision to core group
• Dreamt some more...
• Secured venue
• Planned and equipped venue once secured with audio, visual, lighting systems
• Creative and technical point person for all media
• Saw to the equipping of children’s area, youth, java bar area, set up and tear down for weekend service times
• Recruited people for all of above areas...and more
• Scheduled all weekend service related folks except kids and youth
• Created all graphics for Reunion Church from much of the website to brochures, invitations, pamphlets, signage and images for weekend services
• Created and produced each weekend experience from planning through performance
• Began utilizing more original songs into our worship
• Was the point person for all creative groups
• Planned and coordinated several art galleries each year consisting of a multitude of various media
• Began small group ministry and equipped leaders
• Saw leaders rise and lives change
• Lead worship in children’s church
• Lead 3 small groups over the 5 years
• Wrote, recorded and produced worship album “Smuggling Hope”
• Planned and shot more and more custom video and began editing
• Began switching and directing and became more involved in video production
• Directed several large state youth gatherings in IL
• Counseled many a couple with my wife
• Watched God give grace and provide time and time again
